When our founder, Paula Newman-Skomski, was invited to share the Peoria Home story with the Mill Creek Rotary, she was just thrilled to have the opportunity to spread the word about our new organization. The group inquired with how they could help – Paula mentioned the detached garage at our new resident home to be used as the space for our social enterprise, needed a new paint job.

Rotary members, Scott Telhuzen and Michael Mallihan, came out to assess the project and determined the garage needed much more than just a new paint job…

Several months later, our detached garage now has new siding & paint on the outside with updated wiring, lights, windows, insulation, doors and a brand new paint job on the inside.

This project was made possible by the hard working team of the Mill Creek Rotary, Tenhulzen Painting & Construction Partners, Dunn Lumber, members of the Everett Rotary and Seattle Rotary groups.

The Peoria Home staff and residents are beyond grateful for this amazing gift!
