Meet the Team!
Terri joined Peoria Home May 2019 and comes with an extensive track record in business, and having held key nonprofit leadership positions. Most recently, Terri spent a decade at Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville, growing that nonprofit into one of the region’s most respected animal welfare organizations. After stepping away from the executive director role there, she continued to support the local nonprofit community in a consulting capacity, advising and assisting with business and board development, marketing communications, and operational and program improvements.
In the summer of 2015, Kusum joined Peoria Home as a volunteer and in April 2018, was hired on as the Program Manager. Her background is in domestic violence, mental health, chemical dependency, homelessness and trauma. She has worked in social services for the last 16 years and has a BA in psychology from The American University in Cairo. Kusum speaks Arabic, Hindi, Phadhi, a north Indian Himalayan dialect, fluently.
Lisa has a background in criminal justice, life coaching, victim advocacy, program management, and counseling. She sees herself as a constant learner. She digs deep with those she works with to empower them and help them become who they are intended to be. Lisa is very effective in helping those she works with to identify barriers and overcome them. She has Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling with a Life Coaching specialty and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
Dani Rotta, MA LMHC

Dani earned her Masters degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University in 1999 in Family Systems Theory. She was trained in Somatic & Attachment focused EMDR that works with trauma. Some additional training & modalities (not a complete list) that influence her approach are Dialectic Behavioral Theory (DBT), Voice Dialogue, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Neuro Linguistic Processing (NLP) & Motivational Interviewing (MI), all within a holistic approach.
Jenn has been clean, sober, and out of the life for over 29 years. She is able to pull from her own life experiences, good and bad, to support the women of Peoria Home. Providing the connection the women need to know they are worthy of a better life. As a volunteer, Jenn supports many of our life-skills educational classes, and started an internship program for our residents with her pottery business, Mountain Ridge Pottery.
